The Little Light House is a Christian Developmental Center serving children with special needs from birth to six years of age. Laps for Little Ones is the longest-running annual fundraiser at the Little Light House, and has been an annual event for 31 years. Runners who compete at Laps for Little Ones raise money to help Little Light House students continue to receive tuition free therapy and special education services. Please support our Laps runners by helping them reach their goal!
Passing the Torch
Thank you for visiting my page for this year's Laps for Little Ones.
When I was at Little Light House, I ran in Mini Laps for 4 years. Now that I graduated, I can participate in Laps for Little Ones, but that track is REALLY big so I recruited my brother, Alex, to run in this event. His legs are much longer than mine. He has also volunteered at Little Light House for the last two summers so he knows lots of the kids that attend school there.
I learned so much at Little Light House and want other kids with disabilities to learn as much as I did. Because Little Light House does not receive any government or United Way funding, it is important for me to help when I can, which is where you come in. If you can financially support my brother in this event, it will help Little Light House continue it's mission.
