Kids with Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida, Autism, and many other developmental delays receive tuition-free services year round. It's because of private and corporate donations that the LLH is able to give children these free services. Please support Brian in his Laps for Little Ones Campaign!

For the past 3 ½ years, I (Molly) have worked at The Little Light House. The Little Light House serves kids with special needs like Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, autism, spina bifida, and lots of other developmental and physical disorders. The cool thing is, the kids get to come to this school for free and get Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy, and Vision Therapy for 20 hours a week. If you know much about therapy, you know it would cost a ton (over $20,000 a year) for them to get that stuff, but The Little Light House does it for free. They don't get government funding or United Way so all the donations come from private donors. Pretty amazing.

Every year the Little Light House throws an event called Laps for Little Ones where people from the community can run and raise money to support the school. This year, Brian is going to run in honor of a student named Haven Brockey. Haven has autism, and she is a truly remarkable little girl. She is am amazing musician and can sing harmony with her mom and play piano already at age 6. During her time at The Little Light House, she has become more social and interactive with her peers and teachers. You can read more about Haven on her MiniLaps web page by visiting http://littlelighthouse.donordepot.com/havenbrockey

I honestly think that The Little Light House is a wonderful place. The love and instruction that the teachers and therapists give to the children is world class. It truly is the only place in the country like it. I hope that you will sponsor Brian for Laps for Little Ones by making a donation by clicking the “DONATE” button on the right. Thank you for your support and we appreciate you being a part of our lives!
