The Little Light House is a Christian Developmental Center serving children with special needs from birth to six years of age. Laps for Little Ones is the longest-running annual fundraiser at the Little Light House, and has been an annual event for 31 years. Runners who compete at Laps for Little Ones raise money to help Little Light House students continue to receive tuition free therapy and special education services. Hello Friends and Family-
Sean and I are so excited to be running in Laps for Little Ones again this year. I have been participating in it ever since 1984, and of course I pushed Sean in it the second we started dating (2000). Combined we have raised lots of money to help the children at the Little Light House, but this year, we decided to place our goals a little higher. Together we would like to raise $10,000. I know that is a big number, but I am convinced that any little bit helps and these kids need us.
I know some of you don't know what the Little Light House is so let me explain.The little light house is a Christian Developmental Center, serving young children with special needs, from birth through the chronological age of six years. The Little Light House provides highly individualized educational and therapeutic services in a loving Christian environment, all on a tuition-free basis. You all should see how amazing this place is. It breaks Sean and my heart every time we enter. God is a big God and he has a huge heart for these children, and so do we. Laps for Little Ones this year is on October 24th, so that doesn't give us a lot of time to raise money, but I am convinced that you will help. This is the Little Light Houses biggest fundraiser. It helps pay the teachers and staff for the whole year. Any donation is great, even a prayer helps. This year Sean and I are running for a beautiful little girl named Abigail. She is so precious and she deserves everything. It is so easy to donate, just click donate on this page and fill out the questions it asks. Every little bit helps.
