The Little Light House is a Christian Developmental Center serving children with special needs from birth to six years of age. Laps for Little Ones is the longest-running annual fundraiser at the Little Light House, and has been an annual event for 31 years. Runners who compete at Laps for Little Ones raise money to help Little Light House students continue to receive tuition free therapy and special education services. Laps for little ones is a fundraising opportunity for Little Light House. Little Light House is a Christian organization designed to help children and families with special needs children. Laps for Little Ones is where runners run laps around a track for 1 hour and for doing so we raise money for the school, which relies on the money raised by these type of events to operate.
Little lighthouse has become a special part of my life because it has helped give Brooklyn Bidwell (my cousin) a chance at a better quality of life. Brookie was born albino, deaf, and blind. She has since gotten cochlear implants to help her here, and with the help of little light house she has developed motor skills and and other life skills. She loves going to school and love little light house as does the rest of our family. This organization means a lot to me, as does she.
