The Little Light House is a Christian Developmental Center serving children with special needs from birth to six years of age. Laps for Little Ones is the longest-running annual fundraiser at the Little Light House, and has been an annual event for 31 years. Runners who compete at Laps for Little Ones raise money to help Little Light House students continue to receive tuition free therapy and special education services. Hi Everyone!
My name is Hailey Williams. I will soon be 9 years old and am in the 3rd grade at Mingo Valley Christian School. I am a cheerleader at my school and love to read. My favorite things are Poke Mon cards, Sonic video games, puppies and my grandma Lo Lo.
My grandma Lo Lo works with the kids at the Little Light House. She helps them to sit by themselves and teaches them how to use their hands.
That is why I am running in LAPS for Little Ones on October 20, so she can continue to work and help the kids there. You see, the Little Light House needs money. They do not ask parents to pay tuition or get any money from the government. Their money comes only from people like you and me and businesses.
I need you to sponsor me, so I can do my part to help others. Also, I will get to choose a cool prize depending on how much support I raise! I want you to come to LAPS and cheer me on as I run laps around the track for the Red Class! It’s going to be fun. That’s on Saturday, October 20 at 8:00 a.m. at Cascia Hall.
