The Little Light House is a Christian Developmental Center serving children with special needs from birth to six years of age. Laps for Little Ones is the longest-running annual fundraiser at the Little Light House, and has been an annual event for 31 years. Runners who compete at Laps for Little Ones raise money to help Little Light House students continue to receive tuition free therapy and special education services. Please support our Laps runners by helping them reach their goal!

Hello Everybody!
My name is Hayden Umdenstock. I will soon be 9 years old and am in the 3rd grade at Country Lane Elementary School in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. My favorite subjects in school are science, math and reading. I am on a soccer team and love to play sports. My favorite thing to do is to ride go carts with my friend Trey. I also like Poke Mon cards and the video game Jack.
I was first introduced to the Little Light House when I was real little. You see, my Grandma Lo Lo works there, so I get to stop by every once in awhile. I like to play in their gym – it has a lot of cool stuff in it. The little Light House has a fun run called Laps for Little Ones on October 20. It is one of the ways they make money for their school. They don’t get any money from the government like my school. All of the money they get comes from individual people like you and me and businesses. That is why I am going to run in LAPS – I want to help them raise money so my grandma can continue to teach and help the kids there.
I need you to sponsor me, so I can do my part to help others. Also, I will get to choose a cool prize depending on how much support I raise! I want you to come to LAPS and cheer me on as I run laps around the track for the Blue Class! It’s going to be fun. That’s on Saturday, October 20 at 8:00 a.m. at Cascia Hall.
You can make donations online by clicking the “donate now†button link. Or you can send a check to the Little Light House directly. Mail it to: Little Light House, 5120 E. 36th Street, Tulsa, OK, 74135. Please write it is for LAPS and put my name as the runner, Hayden Umdenstock. Don’t forget that since my grandma’s school is non-profit, all you give is tax deductible.
Please pass this website and letter along to your friends, neighbors, and family so they can sponsor me and help the kids at the Little Light House.
Thank you,
Hayden Umdenstock
