Hello!

I am Kristen Tuggle and I have the privilege of working with the Little Light House, a non-profit Christian developmental center that serves children with special needs from birth to six years old. With no United Way or government funding, we rely 100% on the community for donations to operate. The next major fundraiser is Laps for Little Ones which will take place 8:00 a.m. October 24, 2009, at Cascia Hall Preparatory School, 2520 S Yorktown Ave, Tulsa.

As a staff member here at The Little Light House I am privileged to sponsor a child by running laps. I have chosen to sponsor Solomon Siegel (pictured above) since we are both new to The Little Light House. This sweetheart has captured my heart and at 2 years old he has already proven his strength beyond that of most having endured 5 surgeries before he was 5 months old, including open heart surgery. Solomon is an amazing little boy that has already mastered some sign language. His favorite sign is for hat—he always points it out when he sees someone wearing one. Among his loves are dogs, water and books. Having just learned to walk two months ago there are no boundaries to Solomon’s animated approach to life!

Our Bible based curriculum is designed to teach the children the alphabet, numbers, words, and many more everyday things like sign language! We provide Physical, Occupational, Speech, and Vision Therapies. Our special teachers and therapists are able to spend lots of quality time with each individual child which helps to ensure that these kids will have the most quality life possible. The Little Light House will invest over $26,000 in Solomon’s education this coming year, yet we are tuition free. It is my personal goal to raise $10,000 of the investment in Solomon in this program through generous and compassionate donations made by people like you. You can sponsor a certain amount per lap or a particular donation amount. Thank you very much in advance for supporting The Little Light House!

Thank you for your kind consideration,

Kristen Tuggle
