The Little Light House is a Christian Developmental Center serving children with special needs from birth to six years of age. Laps for Little Ones is the longest-running annual fundraiser at the Little Light House, and has been an annual event for 31 years. Runners who compete at Laps for Little Ones raise money to help Little Light House students continue to receive tuition free therapy and special education services. Please support our Laps runners by helping them reach their goal!

Friends and Family,
For the past twelve years our family has been honored to take part in the Laps for Little Ones fundraiser, an event which raises money for The Little Lighthouse. We were introduced to this amazing school through the families of Kylie Killingsworth and Kenzie Burnside (who are both now graduates). We’ve witnessed the amazing physical, academic and spiritual progress these kids have made and believe it is one of best schools in the country of its kind.
This year’s efforts are especially meaningful with our close friends Leonard and Jennie McCullough’s daughter Elle now on the wait list. Last year, through your help, we were able to raise $2,000 and this year we’re committed to raising even more ($5,000 is the goal). Donating is easy (it can all be done online).
Leighton will be representing the Hopkins on the track. This years run will be the 33rd annual Laps for Little Ones, held at Cascia Hall at 9:00 AM on October 9, 2010. Run as many laps as you can in 1 hour. Come join us for an inspiring event that includes music, prizes and snacks!
Thank you,
Jerry, Tina and Leighton Hopkins
