Dear Family and Friends,

As most of you know, I am passionate about the work being done at The Little Light House. TLLH is a Christian Developmental Center serving children with special needs. TLLH offers services to over 60 families of children with special needs, free of charge!!! Our students receive physical, occupational, speech and low vision therapy from licensed therapists and educational services taught by certified special education teachers.

If it is at all possible for me to be even more passionate about the great work being done at this amazing school, this year I am. You see, this past year, Matt and I were doubly blessed with the birth of our twins, Addison and David. And not unlike the majority of the families whom we serve at TLLH, our precious twins had to spend 4 weeks in the NICU due to prematurity. While in the NICU, we met a future LLH student and her family. This beautiful baby girl was in the NICU because she was born with Down Syndrome. This little girl is now on our waiting list along with over 130 other children. At the same time my twins were in the NICU, many other babies were fighting much tougher battles and many of them are now waiting to receive LLH services. I am asking for your help for these families and for the countless others whom we’ll get the opportunity to serve because of the generous donations made from people like you.

One more side note, after taking a few months off to be with my twins, I am back to work at TLLH. I am now a mom, so my passion is shared between my precious twins and this amazing ministry. Luckily I did not have to pick one over the other; my twins go to work with me and they are right next door to my office. They are receiving free child care along with 2 other staff members’ infants. Next school year they will be old enough to be in the classroom along with our students with special needs. Little Addie and David will serve as typical peer models as they help our children with special needs develop to their maximum potential. What an amazing blessing it has been having them right here with me. I’m thrilled that they will learn about Jesus and make friends with His precious children that attend TLLH. Please help me show my gratitude for this ministry by making a tax deductible donation to this amazing school. Addison, David and the other LLH students and families will be forever grateful!

Love,

Julie, Matt, Addie and David
