Hello! Welcome to my Laps for Little Ones web page benefiting the Little Light House! This charitable event has been a part of my life since I was born. Mom took me when I was only 2 weeks old! I have ran in Laps for Little Ones almost every year (or every other year) since I can remember. When I was younger, it was kind of a family tradition to run every year, since my mother was a big part of the Little Light House. I can remember running in the event when I was younger and feeling like I was such an important person making my laps around the track and hearing people in the stands cheering for me. I knew I was making a difference in helping raise money for the Little Light House, however, I did not realize the extent of how much of a difference it truly makes until I began working full-time there. I began at the Little Light House in the August 2008 school year as a classroom associate. I always knew the Little Light House was a Christian developmental center that provided tuition-free therapy and special education services to children with special needs, which is an amazing thing in and of itself. However, I have learned that the Little Light House is so much more. I have found such a love and passion working there.

The children are such a joy to teach and to help a child reach a new milestone in their life is truly a blessing to experience.
