The Little Light House is a Christian Developmental Center serving children with special needs from birth to six years of age. Laps for Little Ones is the longest-running annual fundraiser at the Little Light House, and has been an annual event for 31 years. Runners who compete at Laps for Little Ones raise money to help Little Light House students continue to receive tuition free therapy and special education services. Welcome to the Kimberly Densmore Little Light House Laps for Little Ones Donation Page! On Saturday, October 24th I will be running in Laps for Little
Ones which is a one hour event benefiting the children of my school. The
Little Light House provides necessary early intervention services in the
areas of special education, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech
therapy, and vision therapy all in a loving Christian environment and at no
cost to the families. We rely on generous support from the community and
private donations to continue this ministry as we receive no government or
United Way funding. Please consider supporting me in this event and helping
me reach my goal!
I have worked at The Little Light House for 2 ½ years now and
have been blessed by being able to serve a wide variety of children and families and experience God's work of miracles in their lives. I am currently the teacher in the Pink Class and have 7 students, ages 4-5. I love seeing their faces light up each morning when coming to school and getting the opportunity to work on accomplishing important milestones in their lives. For some families, The Little Light House provides the hope that they need to see that their children are gifts with so much love and joy to bring to our world when they have heard otherwise from so many others. I truly believe that these children have a God given purpose, and we seek to help them reach their full potential. Without The Little Light House, many families would not be able to afford the services that their children need and deserve.
