For the past 25 years, MiniLaps has been one of the largest fundraisers at The Little Light House annually. Families of the LLH students will raise money for their child’s year at school. This year, MiniLaps will be held September 25th, 2010 at The Little Light House. Please help our children by making a donation and help them meet their goal! The Little Light House is a non-profit Christian developmental center that serves children with special needs from birth to six years old. With no government funding, they rely 100% on the community for donations to operate. With your donation to MiniLaps, you can help a child reach their maximum potential.
Brooklyn has been attending The Little Light House for two years. She is three years old.
She loves going to school each day to be with her friends. Walking through the doors, you can see the excitement in her face. Even if she has been asleep in the car before arriving, she is practically skipping to the front door, down the hall to her classroom, excited to start her day.
Brooklyn was born deaf and visually impaired. She has had two major surgeries in her short little life. She now wears cochlear implants on each ear. She is learning to hear with both ears. We are praying that she will soon begin to speak.
She is a joy to all who meet her. She will melt your heart with one look. With your help and prayers, Brooklyn will overcome all her obstacles. Thank you for supporting Brooklyn and The Little Light House. May God Bless You!
