For the past 25 years, MiniLaps has been one of the largest fundraisers at The Little Light House annually. Families of the LLH students will raise money for their child’s year at school. Dear Friends & Family!
As I write this letter, I think of the last couple years where we have been apart of the most amazing school in the world - The Little Light House. Emily has now been at the Little Lighthouse for 2 years this will be her 3rd & final year (2009-2010) and our final Mini-Laps.
Emily continues to blossom before our eyes! She is beginning to read and can even spell words. When I think back at the beginning of this grand adventure - she couldn't even talk! Now she is reading words, spelling & talking a mile a minute! My heart is overwhelmed with joy!! We truly do not have enough words to describe our gratitude to TLLH! They have changed our lives!
As many of you know from previous years, we now have the opportunity to thank them in the annual Mini-laps by helping raise funds to make this school a reality for other families with Special Needs Children. That is where you come in. We are needing people to sponsor Emily in her Mini-laps this year (September 26th). There is even an opportunity for Businesses to sponsor the Mini-laps with advertisement incentives. (BUSINESSES, please contact me for further info on this!!! Remember, all of this is tax deductible!!!) We ask that you would prayfullly consider supporting this amazing school. There are several ways that you can help!
